The Indus Policy Forum is an independent, nonpartisan think tank based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, dedicated to identifying critical challenges facing Pakistan and formulating actionable solutions grounded in rigorous, research-driven analysis. Inspired by leading global policy institutions, our mission is to leverage the talent, resources, and expertise of American-Pakistanis, overseas Pakistanis, and subsequent generations to ensure Pakistan effectively navigates an increasingly modernized and interconnected world.
We focus on areas crucial to Pakistan’s development, including healthcare, education, industry, labor, defense, economic growth, and environmental sustainability. By identifying structural weaknesses, we propose practical, innovative, and forward-thinking reforms that transcend partisan divides and short-term political cycles.
At the core of our work is the belief that informed, strategic policymaking can transform Pakistan into a prosperous, just, and globally competitive nation. Through comprehensive analysis, original writing, and accessible, data-driven publications, the Indus Policy Forum strives to influence decision-makers, strengthen institutional capacity, and engage the broader public in meaningful discourse about Pakistan’s future.
